Women who are unemployed, have limited work experience, or are returning to the workforce after time away. Our purpose includes skills development, confidence building and pathways to sustainable employment.
Women experiencing financial pressure, unexpected life changes, food insecurity or difficulty covering everyday essentials. Practical support and connection are central to our approach.
Mothers raising children on their own, including those preparing to return to work or facing barriers to childcare. We recognise the balance between caring for a family and building financial independence.
Women experiencing separation, divorce or changes in family relationships. A supportive community can help make the transition to independent living feel less isolating.
Women facing rental stress, temporary accommodation or the possibility of losing their home. We recognise housing insecurity as a significant barrier to wellbeing, stability and employment.
Women from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, including new arrivals navigating English, the Australian job market and local services. Belonging begins with being welcomed and understood.
Community grows when we show up for one another. From building new connections to coming together for a shared cause, the spirit of WEA is one of care, participation and possibility.
